EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR GT-R FESTIVAL VIP EXPERIENCE

Here is all of the information you need to help make your weekend run nice and smoothly from start to finish as a VIP ticket holder.

ARRIVING AT THE EVENT

VIP guests have access to the event before it opens to the public.

Gates open at 1pm on Friday so you can check out the Private Test Day and get a sneak peak at things in the pits and on the track.

On Saturday, gates open at 8.30am for VIPs.

VIP’s access the venue via the Competitor Entrance access road.

Follow the signs that say β€˜Competitor, VIP and Trader Entrance’. 

When you enter the access road there will be cones and signs marking out 3 lanes. The VIP is the far right lane. You will then turn right into the VIP and Trader gate. It is fenced and coned off to funnel you through VIP Check-In.


When you pull up to VIP Check-In, you will be asked to show your electronic tickets to be scanned.

Each VIP ticket holder will receive a VIP showbag that contains your:

  • GT-R Festival T-Shirt

  • GT-R Hub Magazine

  • GT-R Festival Sticker

  • VIP lanyard

  • VIP armband

You must wear your both your armband AND lanyard to access VIP areas. 

 

If you give your lanyard to someone else who doesn’t have a VIP armband, they will not be able to access VIP areas. 

 

You will need your electronic ticket, armband and lanyard to re-gain access if you leave and come back in, as well as on Saturday.

 

If you have people in your car, they will need to have with a VIP Pass or General Admission spectator ticket.

 

Once checked in, you will be directed to park in VIP parking on the grass area at the bottom of the pits. Please park in the designated area as directed by traffic control.
 

AT THE EVENT

Your VIP ticket will give you access to:

 

VIP HANG OUT AREA

This is next to the GT-R Festival and Motive Video trade stand in Trader’s Alley. 

 

There are tables, chairs and beanbags so you can relax in the shade. There are cold drinks and snacks available all day. It is also a great place to watch the trophy presentations. 

 

Special Guest Meet and Greets will take place in the VIP Hang Out Area with over the weekend:

  • Friday: 4.30pm

  • Saturday: 12:30pm

 

CORPORATE BOXES

VIP Pass holders have access to corporate boxes numbered three through twelve (3-12).

 

Your VIP armband will have a number on it. This number is the corporate box you have been allocated to. 

 

If you wish to access a different corporate box to be with your mates or group, you may do so if someone in that box agrees to swap. Corporate boxes are limited to 20 people each, so any allocation will need to be swapped prior to accessing the desired corporate box.


The corporate boxes will be kept stocked up with soft drinks, water and snacks throughout the day.

 

VIP TRACKSIDE VIEWING AREA

There is a designated VIP trackside viewing area on the east side of the dragway on the grass by the start line. 

 

Before going trackside you will need to go to the scrutineering shed, located near the cafe, in front of the staging lanes, and β€œsign on”.

 

An insurance waiver must be signed and you will receive an additional armband to access trackside viewing.

 

The viewing area can be accessed by the walkway to the east side over the control tower, then walking down the concrete grandstand to the gate at the bottom. 

 

LUNCH

There will be snacks and soft drinks available all day, and lunch will be served between 12.30pm - 2.00pm in the VIP Hang Out Area. 

 

An Italian buffet is provided with a variety of options. This is self serve and you can either eat in the VIP Hang Out Area or use a takeaway container to take up to your corporate box to eat.
